Hotel Royal
Staying at Hotel Royal provides a convenient access to some of the major shopping scenes in Singapore. Within walking distances to Novena are United Square Mall, Velocity @ Novena Square and Square 2.
The famous Orchard Road shopping belt is just a short 5 minutes bus ride from the doorstep of the hotel. If you like to venture around, the Novena MRT Station is a 5 minutes’ walk from the Hotel Royal which literally connect you to the whole of Singapore.
United Square Mall:
Highly local and incredibly convenient, this is one of the best shopping centres in Novena for families with children.
Containing plenty of family-friendly and children’s specialty stores inside, the United Square Mall also has plenty of interactive
learning hubs for the kids.
Velocity @ Novena Square:
This extension to the Novena Square Mall is one of the top shopping destinations in Singapore for sporting goods, and one of the only places
in the world to offer a shopping centre specifically for sports and outdoor brands. From Adidas to Outdoor Life, sports-loving shoppers
are sure to find the equipment they’re looking for here. The Novena MRT Station is located at the basement of this building.
Square 2:
One of the lesser-known shopping malls near Novena, the Square 2 is a shopping centre with more of a local vibe. Separated from the glitz and glamour
of Orchard Road’s shopping malls, Square 2 offers an excellent selection of household essential stores; such as Harvey Nicholls, as well as a number
of supermarkets and food produce shops. Albeit not one of Singapore’s top shopping attractions, Square 2 has plenty to offer the local resident –
and is almost guaranteed to offer better prices than some of the more glamorous malls.
